The MOOOV Film Festival focuses on films from Asia, Africa and South America. Watch films you won't see anywhere else, and travel to a faraway land through the silver screen. There is so much to discover at this festival: from family films to documentaries, from feel-good stories to moving dramas. Stop by between April 24 and May 4 at Lumière Bruges and, in addition to film, enjoy peripheral activities, workshops and fascinating post-screening talks. The Red Rock Plaza is the gathering place for hungry stomachs, playing children (and proudly waiting parents). You can also just escape there from the Rock violence on the other side of the pond. Edition 2025 of the Meifoor takes place at ‘t Zand, in King Albert I Park and at Simon Stevin Square and runs from Friday 5 May to Sunday 1 June. All the foor squares are within walking distance of each other and definitely worth a visit. The Bruges Meifoor is a folk festival that dates back as far as the year 1200. Today, the Meifoor is a celebration for young and old with large attractions, traditional fairground stalls and numerous food and drink stands.
