For five months, and this both in the Groeninge Museum, the Gruuthuse Museum and the attic of the renovated St John's Hospital Museum, visitors are invited to reflect on the future of our planet. -

Over 1,800 participants sing, make music, dance and act, bringing Biblical stories to life. The style of the procession recalls the Burgundian era when guilds, crafts, brotherhoods and chambers of rhetoric were responsible for the interpretation of the scenes. -

This is a medieval procession that tells a story about Bruges and the historical county of Flanders. The procession is based on the festivities surrounding the marriage of Margaret of York and Charles the Bold in 1468, the most spectacular wedding that ever took place in Bruges: from banquets with rare foods to wealthy delegations from all corners of Europe to the 'Arms Pass of the Golden Tree'. -

Brugs Bierfestival 2024
14 Sep 2024 - 15 Sep 2024BMCCA centuries-old beer tradition combined with a new generation of innovative craft brewers has resulted in Belgian beer culture, and thus Bruges', being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. No better place to get acquainted with a wide range of beers, presented by their brewers, than the BMCC where the Bruges Beer Festival takes place. You can choose from the range of some 500 beers from some 80 breweries. Every year there are several first-time beers, so always something to surprise returning visitors. -
